N/A Bug Fixed
So I reset all the players who had signed with team “N/A” (because of a bug) to a random day in the last two days. They should all be available to be signed now. If someone isn’t, let me know and I’ll fix it. I think I finally found the bug in the code that was causing the issue, so hopefully it shouldn’t happen anymore.
2 more days left!

Romel Beck Added
Romel Beck has been added to the free agency pool, Day 18 for all leagues. As always, let me know if there’s someone you’re looking at who is not in the database and I will add them.

FA Started - First Signings Wednesday Night
The free agency period has started. The signings of Day 1 will take place on Wednesday, October 7th at 9 PM eastern. Let me know if anything’s not working - free agency is a complicated process that can often result in bugs.

Free Agency Starts on Monday!
Finally - the long period of nothingness is over. The free agency period will start Monday night at 9 PM eastern time. Make sure to get your qualifying offers in by that deadline or you will lose the rights to your free agents!
As always, post in the forums or email me if you have any questions.

Position Changes
I want to let everyone know that I have decided on a final list of position changes that will take affect for this coming season (so I will make the changes in the database soon). Those changes are:
Paul Millsap - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
Kris Humphries - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
Kevin Martin - PG/SG/SF, will be SG/SF
John Salmons - PG/SG/SF, will be SG/SF
Tyrus Thomas - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
David Lee - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
Amir Johnson - SF/PF, will be PF/C
Larry Hughes - PG/SG/SF, will be SG/SF
Udonis Haslem - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
Brandan Wright - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
Jason Thompson - SF/PF/C, will be PF/C
These are the eligibilities that produce the most problems with the simulation as currently constructed. We’ve been discussing these for awhile, so hopefully it’s not a surprise to anyone. And if it creates problems with your roster, you still have the rest of the offseason to adjust.

Draft Fixed!
At least I hope. I undid all the errors and so we should be good to go now, hopefully this won’t happen again. Thanks for your patience everyone.

Draft Bugs
As most of you know, there were some draft bugs over the last 24 hours. Unfortunately I’m going to be busy tonight, but I will try and fix those errors on Sunday. Just sit tight, don’t make any moves, and I’ll hopefully be able to fix it soon. Apologies for the errors.

Draft Queue Ready
Sorry for the delay, but the draft queue feature is now fixed and ready for the draft. So get those players in the queue and get ready for the start of the draft Wednesday night at 9 PM eastern!
(Let me know if there are any problems (xohoops AT gmail DOT com) - there may well be some bugs in the whole draft process, although I’m hoping I got them all fixed.)

Draft Scheduled
The 2009 XO Hoops Rookie Draft has been scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 1st, at 9 PM eastern time. Get ready!
(The players will be put in the database sometime this weekend, and a new GM will be found for the inactive team in the XOD league soon as well. If you have any suggestions for someone who would want to take over the team in XOD, email me at xohoops AT gmail DOT com.)
The problem with the developmental slot players’ contracts has been fixed as well. Should be an exciting couple of days: the NBA Draft tonight and then the XO Hoops Draft a week later. Who could ask for anything more?
